Use of Greens for Practice

The external noticeboard indicates green and direction of play for each day however, the green keeper (or a Board member in the absence of the green keeper) has final say on which greens may be used and the direction of play.

From the opening day of each season until 30th April, the following guidelines with apply:

No. 2 and 3 synthetic greens are open all year round for practice from 1.00pm, except for organised games.

No. 1 Green: 

Over the winter period the No. 1 grass green may be closed or used at the discretion of the green keeper, or the Pennant Director.

Monday – Closed for maintenance except for organised games and specialised coaching.

Tuesday – After  completion of Pennant.

Wednesday – From 2.00 pm.

Thursday – Affiliated bowlers can practice Thursday from 10.00am (this time is meant for Tuesday pennant team bowlers).  Anyone may practice if rinks are available but practice for Saturday pennant teams takes precedence after 4.00pm.

Friday – From 2.00pm.

Saturday –  After completion of Pennant.

Sunday – Scheduled games, club championships and organised coaching only.
